Nancy is a graduate of Southwestern College with a degree in Art Therapy/Counseling. She has worked in Outpatient therapy and Residential communities, specifically treatment foster care and residential recovery. She has experience with clients who have a variety of issues including PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum, substance abuse, homelessness, and more. She has specialized training working with teens with problem sexual behaviors and the Matrix model of recovery. She is an ally and advocate for LGBTQIA+ population.

Her focus has been working with clients to build connection with others, but more importantly with themselves. Her education at Southwestern College taught her much about building awareness within herself to achieve true transformation. She has channeled these gifts into her sessions with clients by helping them achieve awareness of their thoughts and feelings in mind, body and spirit which allows them to transform themselves. She does this through the use of many modalities and tools including, but not limited to art therapy, sand tray therapy, CBT and DBT.
