She also holds a certificate as a Certified Trauma Practitioner (CTP) and in Death Midwifery. Meredith has a passion for working with clients who have experienced grief and complex trauma. She has also worked with clients who have been diagnosed with mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, and neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. Meredith believes that every person has a right to a happy and fulfilling life no matter what stage of life they are in or experiences they have had.
Meredith’s goal of working with individuals is that each person will gain a sense of confidence, autonomy, and hope. Meredith’s practices include the utilization of art therapy and traditional talk therapy from a trauma informed, person-centered lens paired with evidence-based models like the ETC in Art Therapy, DBT, and CBT when appropriate. Although utilizing evidenced based models when applicable, Meredith also uses the here and now approach by attuning to clients’ needs in the moment. Meredith also works to continue her own education to ensure that her practice is mindful, culturally informed, and inclusive.
