Denise Moore is licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC) in the state of New Mexico and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals (CCTP). She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies from Oberlin College, and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Southwestern Collage. Denise has extensive experience working with survivors of violence and incorporating trauma-informed practices in both therapy and supervision.

Denise’s experience spans from working with families and children in a home-based program to working with complex trauma in both short-term and long-term treatment with individuals. She is trained in various evidence-based practices including Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT,) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) , among other therapeutic techniques. Her approach to both therapy and supervision are based on a relational approach , believing that each individual has strengths, knowledge and expertise that contribute to their own healing and growth.

Denise was born and raised in Santa Fe and feels passionate about providing quality and equitable mental health services to this community that she loves. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
